Where to go swimming around Carlsbad

Carlsbad is a renowned spa town and a large number of visitors are coming for its famous thermal baths. In hot summer months, however, it may happen that you will want to refresh yourself. In that case, we recommend you to take advantage of one of the many indoor and outdoor swimming pools located directly in Carlsbad and nearby.

The atmospheric pool in Elizabethan Spa is worth a visit.

If you are looking for a pool in a walking distance from the hotel, visit the swimming pool right in the center of Karlovy Vary which is part of the Elizabethan Spa Complex. In the pool you have the opportunity to swim but also to relax in the whirlpool. Due to its location in spa complex, you may visit for example the spa’s salt cave after swimming.

The sea it is not so far away from Carlsbad.

For salt water, raccoons and sharks you may have to go a little further. However, if all you need is 500 meters of white sandy beach and sun-filled fresh water, you can visit the "Sokolov Sea": the pond Michal. KV Arena is the largest of swimming facilities in Karlovy Vary. It has everything: a large indoor and outdoor pool, an area for relaxation, a waterslide and a children's area. Pools are located in the area of ​​the sports center. In the sports hall of the center take place prestigious sports tournaments. Between 9th and the 22th of July the swimming pool is closed for operational reasons.
