53th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

When it comes to Karlovy Vary, do you remember a famous film festival? This year will be the film in Karlovy Vary will be celebrated for the 53rd time. Visit the spa town from 29 June to 7 July 2018 and watch the premiere of films from all over the world. And if you want to unwind from the movie screen, there are workshops, talks with favorite actors, lectures and concerts waiting for you, all with the added value of an exceptional spa atmosphere.

The opening ceremony in front of the Thermal Hotel on Friday 29 June will be in memory of Milos Forman. The Karlovy Vary Festival will welcome Tim Robbs, actor Anna Paquin or director Barry Levinson. You can read more about the tickets and the program on the official website of the festival.

International Teddy Bear Festival

You can combine the film festival with a visit to the International Teddy Bear Festival, which runs from 30 June to 8 July 2018. Do not miss the exhibition of hand-woven bears in Alžbětiny Lázně, which is complemented by the Medvídek and Film competition. In the Christmas House, a rich program is prepared for small enthusiasts: Carnival in Bear Masks, Fairytale shows and Creative Workshops.
