Carlsbad Christmas Markets

At Christmas Markets that take place from the 2nd December onwards every Advent Sunday, you can buy small things for your loved ones, warm up with mulled wine, taste specialities from local retailers, or just enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. In addition, a very rich accompanying program is prepared for you. On weekdays there are musical performances by children's kindergarten and elementary schools from the neighbourhood, on Saturday there is a program for children and an exhibition of Christmas traditions, and famous artists will perform on Sundays.

Do not miss the opening ceremony associated with the Christmas tree lighting, which will take place on December the 3rd. There will be a performance by the famous Symphonic orchestra of Karlovy Vary and a concert of Václav Noid Bárta.

If you would like to join the visit of Christmas markets with a sightseeing trip, we recommend visiting the Krušnohorské Christmas Markets in the Loket Castle on December 9th and 10th. The Medieval Castle courtyard turns into a fair where you can try out a number of traditional crafts and for example, create your own straw ornament. There will also be a possibility to buy products from craftsmen of the region. The accompanying program will be provided by street theater artists, folklore music concerts, or jugglers with fire.
